SiPhox vs Superpower: the short answer

Superpower is better value for one big yearly check; SiPhox is better for testing at home and testing often. Superpower costs $349 a year for a baseline draw of 100+ biomarkers and a retest of 50+, both at a Quest lab, which is about $2.33 per result. SiPhox costs $124 plus $25 shipping ($149) per test for 31 biomarkers on Longevity Essentials, about $4.81 per result, with no needle and no lab visit.

Two details change the math for some buyers. Superpower's baseline panel does not include Lp(a): it sells it as a $79 add-on. And an at-home draw with Superpower costs $119 more per visit and is still a needle. SiPhox includes Lp(a) on its default panel and never uses a needle. Updates from our September 29, 2026 check: Superpower's panel page says it is available in 39 states and Washington, D.C., plus New York and New Jersey at different pricing. It is not available in Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota or Wyoming. The at-home phlebotomist visit is $119. Its pages quote results in "about a week", "5 to 7 days" and "within 10 days".

Yearly cost and cost per biomarker

SiPhox year-one figures use its advertised $99 first test. The "150+" count is Superpower's own headline and counts retested markers twice. Superpower's comparison page describes the split as about 90 at baseline and about 60 at the retest, while its how-it-works page says 100+ and 50+. Add-ons are per order: thyroid antibodies $99, fasting insulin ("Glucose Regulation") $59, PSA $49, progesterone $59.

Both are HSA and FSA eligible. Superpower does not offer refunds but lets you cancel any time; SiPhox does not refund a kit once it ships. Try other cadences in the cost calculator.

Biomarker overlap

Superpower's baseline covers far more ground: a full blood count, a complete metabolic panel, the full iron panel, uric acid, GGT and urinalysis, plus a long list of calculated ratios. SiPhox's Longevity Essentials panel has no kidney, liver or iron panel; you get those by switching to Heart & Metabolic for a cycle, or with Ultimate 360.

Where SiPhox covers something Superpower's baseline does not: Lp(a), ApoA1 and the ApoB:ApoA1 ratio, C-peptide, and (on the Thyroid and Hormone panels) free T3, free T4, TPO and thyroglobulin antibodies, LH, FSH, prolactin and progesterone, with no add-on fees.

Add-ons and upgrades: what extras cost

Superpower's model is a low base price and a large add-on menu: 41 tests on September 29, 2026, from a $49 PSA to a $949 multi-cancer test, plus a $289 heavy metals kit. SiPhox's model is a set of fixed panels you switch between, with a few paid upgrades. Several markers that cost extra on Superpower sit on a standard SiPhox panel at the normal $149 test price.

The practical upshot: if you would buy Lp(a) and the thyroid add-on anyway, Superpower's real price is $527 a year ($349 + $79 + $99). If you only want the baseline, $349 is hard to beat.

Worked example: Lp(a) once, ApoB every quarter

One honest caveat for James: Lp(a) is largely set by your genes, and the National Lipid Association advises measuring it at least once in every adult rather than tracking it. So Lp(a) on every SiPhox test is a convenience, not a reason on its own to test four times. The reason to pick SiPhox here is the quarterly ApoB.

Collection and convenience

Superpower: two venous blood draws a year plus a urine sample, at one of 2,000+ Quest locations or at home with a phlebotomist for $119 extra. Superpower asks for a 10-hour food and caffeine fast and no biotin supplements before the draw.

SiPhox: a kit by mail with the EasyDraw upper-arm device. Warm up, attach it, press the button, and it fills in up to 5 minutes. Ship it the same day, cold and overnight, from a staffed FedEx location Monday to Thursday. The EasyDraw guide explains how to avoid a short sample, which is SiPhox's most common failure.

Turnaround and clinician access

• Superpower: results in roughly 5 to 10 days depending on the page. Membership includes a care team of licensed physicians, nurse practitioners and pharmacists who reply within one business day, an AI chat, and access to prescriptions and supplements at member pricing.
• SiPhox: results 7 to 10 days after the lab receives the sample; some customers wait two weeks or more. No clinician review is included. A $50 results review with a health expert is optional, and SiPhox's app has an AI assistant called Sai.

Superpower wins on follow-up care. With SiPhox, take anything far outside the range to your own doctor.

Where you can use them

SiPhox serves every state except New York and Hawaii, plus Canada. Superpower misses nine states. That makes SiPhox the only one of the two in Alaska, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Wyoming. Superpower is the only one of the two in New York, at a different price. Neither serves Hawaii.

What customers complain about

Superpower had 4.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 361 reviews on September 29, 2026 (86% five-star, 9% one-star). One-star themes: support that only answers by text and slowly, add-on panel suggestions that overlap or leave gaps, charges after cancelling, and missing biomarkers on some results.

SiPhox had 4.7 from about 950 reviews (84% five-star, 8% one-star). Recent one-star themes: hard-to-reach support, results slower than 7 to 10 days, renewal and billing disputes, and draws that did not collect enough blood. The two companies share the support complaint.
